Addon Category

The Addon Category section allows merchants to organize additional options (such as extra toppings, side dishes, customizations, or premium upgrades) into structured categories. This ensures a streamlined selection process for customers when customizing their orders.

  1. Accessing the Addon Category Section
    • Navigate to Menu Manager > Addon Category in your dashboard.
    • This page displays all existing addon categories and allows you to add, edit, or delete them.
  2. Creating a New Addon Category
    • Click “Add New” to create a new category.
  3. Configuring Addon Category Details
    • Name: Enter a name for the addon category (e.g., “Extra Toppings,” “Premium Sides,” or “Customization Options”).
    • Description: Provide a brief explanation of the purpose of this category.
    • Featured Image: Upload an image that represents the category visually.
    • Publish Status: Toggle Publish ON to make the addon category available for selection.
  4. Managing Addon Category Availability
    • Addons can be grouped based on product categories (e.g., drink add-ons, meal add-ons, clothing customization).
    • You can edit existing addon categories at any time to refine their selection.
  5. Saving and Managing Addon Categories
    • Click Save to finalize the addon category setup.
    • You can return anytime to edit, rearrange, or delete addon categories.
    • Use the toggle switch in the Addon Category List to enable or disable categories instantly.
  6. Sorting and Searching Addon Categories
    • Use the Sort button to reorder categories.
    • Use the Search Bar to quickly find a specific addon category.
