The Coupon section, located under Promotions > Coupons, allows merchants to create and manage discount codes. These coupons can be applied at checkout to encourage purchases, reward loyal customers, and drive sales.
- Accessing the Coupon Section
- Navigate to Promotions > Coupons in your dashboard.
- This page displays all active, expired, and upcoming coupons.
- Creating a New Coupon
- Click “Add New” to create a new coupon.
- Configuring Coupon Details
- Coupon Name: Assign a unique name to the discount code.
- Coupon Type: Choose between Percentage or Fixed Amount discounts.
- Discount Value: Set the percentage or fixed discount amount.
- Minimum & Maximum Order Amount: Define the order total range for eligibility.
- Maximum Discount Cap: Set the highest possible discount value for percentage-based discounts.
- Setting Coupon Availability
- Days Available: Select specific days of the week when the coupon can be used.
- Expiration Date: Define the coupon’s validity period.
- Transaction Type: Specify if the coupon applies to Delivery, Pickup, or On-Site orders.
- Defining Coupon Usage Limits
- Unlimited for all users – No restrictions on usage.
- Use only once – A one-time-use coupon per customer.
- Once per user – Each customer can redeem the coupon only once.
- Once for new user’s first order – Limit to first-time customers only.
- Custom limit per user – Specify how many times each customer can redeem it.
- Only to selected customers – Restrict coupon usage to a predefined list of customers.
- Managing Coupon Visibility
- Toggle the Visible switch to make the coupon available for customers to use.
- Invisible coupons remain active but are hidden unless shared directly.
- Tracking Coupon Performance
- View the Coupon List to track coupon usage and redemptions.
- Monitor how many times a coupon has been used and adjust settings accordingly.
- Editing or Deleting a Coupon
- Click the Edit icon to modify coupon details.
- Click the Trash icon to delete the coupon if it is no longer needed.
