Sales Summary Report

The Sales Summary section provides an overview of overall business performance, displaying key sales insights such as revenue, average prices, and quantity sold. This report helps merchants track top-selling items and identify trends to optimize inventory and pricing strategies.

  1. Accessing the Sales Summary Report
    • Navigate to Reports > Sales Summary in your dashboard.
    • This page displays an overview of all menu items sold and their revenue contribution.
  2. Understanding the Sales Data
    • Menu Items: Shows the product name and image for easy identification.
    • Average Price: Displays the average selling price of the item.
    • Total Quantity Sold: Indicates how many units of the item were purchased.
    • Total Revenue: Shows the total sales amount generated by each item.
  3. Switching Between Sales Summary and Sales Chart
    • Click “Sales Summary” for a tabular breakdown of item sales.
    • Click “Sales Chart” to view graphical representations of sales trends.
  4. Sorting and Searching Items
    • Use the Search Bar to find specific menu items.
    • Sort data by highest selling products, revenue, or average price for better insights.
  5. Exporting Reports
    • Download sales data in Excel, CSV, or PDF format, or print it directly from the dashboard.
