This section allows business owners to set up and manage their basic business details, such as name, contact information, branding, and service options. Keeping this information updated ensures that customers see the correct details when interacting with your store.

  1. Accessing the Merchant Information Page
    • Navigate to Merchant Configuration > Information in your dashboard.
    • Here, you will see fields for business details, branding, and service settings.
  2. Updating Basic Business Information
    • Business Name & Slug:
      • Enter the official name of your business.
      • The Business Slug is a unique identifier (used in URLs) and should not contain spaces or special characters.
    • Contact Details:
      • Add a valid phone number and email address so customers can reach you.
  3. Branding & Visual Identity
    • Upload Logo:
      • Click Browse, select your business logo, and upload it.
      • Recommended size: 600×600 pixels for clear visibility.
    • Upload Header Image:
      • This image appears on your storefront or profile page.
      • Recommended size: 1400×600 pixels for optimal display.
  4. Business Description
    • About Section:
      • Use the text editor to write a description of your business. This can include your mission, products, or services.
      • Formatting tools allow bold, italic, and bullet points for better readability.
    • Short About:
      • A condensed version of your business description, which may appear in search results or quick previews.
  5. Service Categories & Offerings
    • Categories:
      • Select relevant categories to help customers identify your business type.
    • Online Services:
      • Enable options like Delivery and Pickup if your business offers them.
    • POS Services:
      • If you accept in-store orders, enable On-Site ordering.
    • Tableside Services:
      • If your business allows table service, enable Takeout for quick orders.
  6. Coverage Area
    • Distance Covered:
      • Define the maximum delivery radius in miles or kilometers.
      • Ensure this aligns with your service area to prevent incorrect orders.
  7. Publishing Your Business
    • Published Merchant Toggle:
      • Ensure this is switched ON to make your business visible to customers.
  8. Saving Changes
    • Once all details are updated, click the Save button to apply changes.
