Shifts

The Shifts feature allows businesses to define specific time slots for accepting reservations, such as morning, afternoon, or dinner hours. This helps in managing customer flow, optimizing staff allocation, and ensuring a smooth customer experience.

  1. Accessing the Shifts Section
    • Navigate to Reservations > Shifts in the dashboard.
    • This page displays all predefined shifts and allows you to add, edit, or delete them.
  2. Creating a New Shift
    • Click “Add Shift” to set up a new booking shift.
  3. Configuring Shift Details
    • Days of the Week: Select the days when this shift will be available.
    • Shift Name: Enter a name that describes the shift (e.g., “Breakfast Shift,” “Lunch Service,” or “Dinner Hours”).
    • First Seating: Set the start time when the shift begins.
    • Last Seating: Set the time when the last reservation for this shift can be made.
    • Interval: Choose the time gap between reservations (e.g., 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour).
    • Publish Status: Toggle Publish ON to activate the shift.
  4. Managing and Editing Shifts
    • Click the Edit Icon next to a shift to make changes.
    • Use the Delete Icon to remove unwanted shifts.
  5. Sorting and Exporting Shift Data
    • Use the Sort function to arrange shifts based on time or preference.
    • Export shifts as Excel, CSV, PDF, or print them for reference.
