The Tables section allows merchants to manage table availability, assignments, and statuses for reservations. It helps with efficient seating arrangements, prevents overbooking, and streamlines the customer’s experience.
Accessing the Tables Section
Navigate to Reservations > Tables in your dashboard.
This page displays all existing tables, their status, and assignments.
Adding a New Table
Click “Add Table” to create a new table.
Configuring Table Details
Table Name: Assign a unique name or number to the table.
Room Assignment: Select the room where the table is located.
Minimum & Maximum Covers: Define the minimum and maximum number of guests allowed for this table.
Table Order Status: Set the table’s availability status:
Available – Open for new reservations.
Ordered – Guests have placed an order.
Occupied – Table is currently in use.
Waiting for Bill – Guests are finishing up.
Generating Multiple Tables
Click “Generate Tables” for batch creation of tables within a room.
Define the number of tables to generate and their respective seating capacity.
Managing Table Availability
Use the status toggle to quickly enable or disable a table.
Update availability based on real-time reservations.
Tracking Table Assignments
Each table can be linked to specific reservations.
Review reservations from the Reservation List to see which tables are booked.
Sorting and Searching Tables
Use the Search Bar to find a specific table.
Export table data using the Excel, CSV, PDF, or Print options.
