The On-Site Settings section allows merchants to manage in-person orders, whether for table service, kiosk orders, or other on-location transactions. It provides options to configure estimated wait times, order requirements, and customer instructions for a seamless dining or service experience.
Accessing the On-Site Settings
Navigate to Order Settings > On-Site in your dashboard.
This section contains two main settings: General Settings and Instructions for customers.
Configuring On-Site Ordering Settings
On-Site Estimation: Set an estimated time for order preparation (e.g., 10-20 minutes).
Minimum Order Requirement: Set a minimum purchase amount for on-site orders.
Maximum Order Limit: Define a cap on order amounts if needed.
Click Save to apply the changes.
Adding Custom On-Site Instructions
Navigate to the Instructions tab.
Describe how customers should proceed with their on-site orders (e.g., “Please wait at your table, and a server will bring your order” or “Pick up your order from the designated counter”).
Click Save to update the instructions, which will be displayed on the customer’s order status page.
Managing On-Site Orders
Once enabled, customers can choose On-Site Ordering as a fulfillment method.
Orders placed through this option will be visible in the Orders Management section for staff processing.
