Settings

The Settings section allows business owners to configure important operational settings, including store hours, tax options, notifications, SEO, order handling, and more. This ensures the business runs smoothly and aligns with customer expectations.

  1. Accessing Settings
    • Navigate to Merchant Configuration > Settings in your dashboard.
    • The menu on the left allows you to switch between different settings categories.
  2. Configuring Basic Settings
    • Default Auto Print Status: Choose whether order receipts print automatically.
    • Tax Number: Enter your business tax number to include it on invoices.
    • Website Address: Add your business website for customer reference.
    • Default Preparation Time: Set the average time needed to prepare an order.
    • Enable/Disable Features: Activate or deactivate vouchers, tips, WhatsApp ordering, and more.
  3. Setting Up Time Zone
    • Choose your time zone to ensure all orders and reports display the correct local time.
    • Set a time interval for scheduling orders.
  4. Managing Store Hours
    • Set your regular business hours for each day of the week.
    • Use the Edit Availability button to adjust special hours for holidays or events.
  5. Tax Configuration
    • Toggle Tax Enabled to apply taxes to transactions.
    • Choose whether taxes apply to service fees, delivery charges, or packaging fees.
    • Set Tax Type (e.g., Standard, VAT) and add new tax rules as needed.
  6. Optimizing SEO
    • Select a page and enter an SEO Title and Meta Description to improve search rankings.
    • Add Meta Keywords to make your business more discoverable online.
  7. Adjusting Kitchen Workload
    • Define preparation time adjustments based on order volume:
      • Low Workload (few orders) → Minimal extra time.
      • Medium Workload (moderate orders) → Add extra minutes.
      • High Workload (busy periods) → Extend prep times.
  8. Notification Settings
    • Enable email and SMS notifications for new orders and cancellations.
    • Enter email and phone numbers for notifications.
  9. Configuring Order Settings
    • Critical Minutes: Set how long an order stays in “urgent” status before needing attention.
    • Reject Order Minutes: Define the time limit before an order is automatically rejected if unfulfilled.
  10. Saving Changes

Click the Save button after making any updates to apply changes immediately.
